Radiometric Exploration Targeting in the Tropicana Gruyere Region, Western Australia

This post points to some work I did on Exploration Targeting using radiometrics in the NW Fraser mobile Zone in Western Australia. The standout mines are Tropicana and Gruyere both possibly 10 million ounce goldfields.

Here is a slide from my AusIMM lecture on Exploration targeting in Australia.

The targeting criteria is a mixture of potassium uranium radiometrics that gives a distinctive flouro pink that is associated with the Tropicana and Gruyere mines.

I notice that some of the new discoveries in the area fall on these circled areas. Maybe someone has been looking at my old paper :).
