New discoveries correlate with Watchorn Exploration Targeting using Yilgarn Seismic Tomography from 300 km depth.

The above image shows the exploration targeting areas in the South West Yilgarn Craton in Western Australia.

The reason for the targets is described in

Western Australian, Yilgarn Craton mineral mineral fields and the Carlin/Battle mountain/Butte/Bingham Canyon area in Western USA. Comparing exploration targeting in these fantastically mineralised areas with Africa (section 8).

All these new discoveries lie within the orange target outlines. These relate to the boundary between the cooler, grey more pristine lithosphere and the hotter,  brown altered Lithosphere.

One would expect to find the greatest variability in lithosphere morphology and P/T conditions in this zone.  This is not a Craton boundary as is currently espoused in the industry – it is just a change in P/T condion boundary.

The Katanning discovery is in a white circle that is of especial interest as I think they represent hotspots at 300 km depth. The largest mines in the currently explored Yilgarn lie over these hotspots which I suggest represent the strongest fluid (magma) pathways up from the core at 2850 km depth.

I have found this relationship to be the same in Australia, China, Africa, South America (AusIMM not yet released Webinar) and just recently in North America – in my latest – not yet released AusIMM Webinar.

For more discussion on the deep fluid source hypothesis go to this African link below at 26 minutes, and from 41 minutes onward;

Happy Hunting – and use the information I supply or you WILL miss out on your own discovery. You may question my methods but you can’t argue with the results 🙂
